KWAM 1 “Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebuland” in London for Nigeria Independence Party

Veteran Fuji artist King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, known as KWAM 1, was conferred with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebuland. The revered Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona presented the significant honor. Awujale chose KWAM 1 for his immense contributions to the Fuji music genre and significant impact on the Ijebu people and Yorubaland.
The late Subomi Balogun, the founder of the First City Monument Bank (FCMB), last held the title Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebuland.
Alexes Promotion Limited, a musical and cultural promotion organization in the United Kingdom, has extended a special invitation to KWAM 1 to attend the Nigeria Independence Party. The CEO Alexes Promotion of Mrs Eniola Omobolanle Olatise promises the event to be a vibrant expression of Nigerian culture, unity, and hope. It is in honor of K1 De Ultimate’s remarkable achievement as the Olori Omo Oba Akile Ijebuland.
The party is themed “The Return of the King”. It is scheduled for Sunday, 1st October 2023, at 6:00 p.m. The event will be at the City Pavilion Millennium Suite, London.
