Oluyole Progressive Union Celebrates 2025 Achievements in Grand London Reception
The Oluyole Progressive Union, under the purposeful leadership of Alhaji Akeem Akinborode, hosted a colourful end-of-year reception to give thanks to God for the successful conclusion of the year 2025 and to celebrate the remarkable achievements of its members.



The well-attended ceremony took place at the prestigious Denmark Hill Community Hall, Blanchedown Road, Camberwell, London, and was marked by an atmosphere of unity, gratitude, and cultural pride. According to the Association’s President, the gathering was organised not only to reflect on the Union’s milestones over the year but also to appreciate the dedication, resilience, and collective progress of its members both in the UK and at home in Nigeria.






The event attracted an array of eminent personalities and respected traditional and community leaders. Among the A-list dignitaries who graced the occasion were HRH Oba Tajudeen Abimbola Ajibola, whose royal presence added prestige to the celebration. Also in attendance was Chief Abdul Gafar Gbadamosi, alongside Chief Lukman Okedina, and Chief Muili Oluwole Oladejo. Other notable guests included Chief Yinka Adeniran, among several distinguished members of the Yoruba and Ibadan indigenes community.



The colourful reception was further enlivened by vibrant traditional attire, warm interactions, and a shared sense of accomplishment, reaffirming the Oluyole Progressive Union’s commitment to unity, cultural heritage, and community development as it looks ahead to greater achievements.
