Councillor Adedamola Aminu Mourns the Loss of His Beloved Mother, Alhaja Wulemotu Abegbe (Iya Akure)

Councillor Adedamola Aminu, a former mayor and respected community leader, is grieving the loss of his mother, Alhaja Wulemotu Abegbe, fondly known as Iya Akure. She passed away on the evening of June 18th, 2024, at the remarkable age of 102. Alhaja Abegbe lived a long and fulfilling life, leaving behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and strength. Her impact on her family and community will be deeply missed.

The funeral and burial services were held on June 19th, 2024, at Olorunsogo, Ibadan, where Councillor Aminu and his family laid his mother to rest with dignity and respect.
