40TH ANNIVERSARY REUNION OF L.A.T.T.C. IYANA-OFFA, IBADAN (1985 SET)
The 40th Anniversary Reunion of the Old Students of Local Authority Teachers Training College (L.A.T.T.C.), Iyana-Offa, Ibadan – 1985 Set was celebrated in grand style on 27th December 2025 at TOKSMANIA, NTA Relaxation Centre, Agodi Gate, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.

The memorable gathering brought together former classmates, respected teachers, past executives, and distinguished guests to reflect on four decades of shared academic experiences, lifelong friendships, and collective achievements since their graduation in 1985.


The programme commenced at 11:00 a.m. with opening prayers led by both a Muslim Alfa and a Christian cleric, symbolising unity and gratitude. A solemn one-minute silence was observed in honour of departed classmates, whose legacies remain etched in the hearts of the set.


Dignitaries were invited to the high table, followed by the rendition of the National, State, and College anthems. The President delivered the welcome address, highlighting the journey of the 1985 set and the enduring bond among members, while the Chairman gave insightful remarks on the significance of the milestone celebration.


Special prayers were offered by the Imam and Pastor for continued unity, good health, and prosperity. The highlight of the event was the presentation of honours and awards to deserving teachers and former executives for their invaluable contributions to the growth and success of the set. Award recipients, including Chief Olasupo Omoniyi, Chief Olusegun Ajuwon, Chief Obiwole, Pa Oderinde, Alhaji Musiliu Adeleye, and Mr Dauda Akinyemi, expressed their appreciation and offered heartfelt prayers for the association.
The vote of thanks was delivered by the Secretary, Mrs Akande Iyabo, while the closing prayer was led by Chief Olasupo Omoniyi.


The celebration climaxed with a colourful reception featuring sumptuous meals, music, and lively dancing, as joy and nostalgia filled the air. The reunion stood as a powerful testament to enduring friendship, shared values, and the timeless impact of education. Prayers were offered for long life, sound health, and greater milestones ahead.
